We were started in 1934 by a group of police officers. Today, we only serve First Responders and their families in Missouri and Kansas. This helps us understand your unique lives and needs so we can provide you the products and services you want. You won’t find this commitment at any other financial institution!

Public Safety Credit Union
Credit Unions offer better rates and less fees than banks. It’s a fact.
Why? Banks have outside shareholders that demand a return on their investment so rates have to be set high enough to make them a healthy return. Credit Unions have members and those members are the only ones who benefit from what we do.
Credit Unions also operate democratically. As a member, you are part owner and entitled to vote in the election of our Board of Directors and Supervisory Committee. These elected volunteers represent you in the oversight and governance of your Credit Union.

Our membership gives so much of themselves to the community every single day. We are proud to return that support by giving our time and efforts to the charities and activities that are important to them.
We support the “Surviving Spouse and Family Endowment Fund (SAFE)” program which provides support to the families of law enforcement, firefighters and EMS workers that perish in the line of duty. We also support the Special Olympics, 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb, KCPD CARE Team and more.
